CFL Betting in Canada

How do CFL betting odds work?
| Market | What the bet needs | Example price |
|---|---|---|
| Point spread | Favourite wins by more than the line, or underdog loses by less | Calgary -4.5 at -110 |
| Moneyline | The chosen team wins the game outright | Underdog at +160 |
| Total | Combined score lands over or under the posted number | Over 49.5 at -110 |
What makes Canadian football different to bet on?
Three downs, bigger field
A CFL offence gets three downs to gain ten yards, not four. Teams pass more and punt sooner, so possession changes often. The field is 110 yards long with 20-yard end zones, which leaves more room for long plays.
Leads are less safe as a result. A ten-point margin late in the fourth quarter can disappear in two drives.
The rouge and late scoring
The rouge, or single, awards one point when a kick goes into the end zone and is not returned out. That point does not exist in the NFL. It can move a game past a half-point total or decide a 2.5-point spread.
Single points decide close spreads, so missed field goals carry more weight in the CFL.
How do you place a first bet on a CFL game?
Register and verify
Open an account with legal name, address and date of birth. ReoBrix accepts Canadian players aged 19 and over, and KYC usually takes 24 to 48 hours.
Deposit
Fund the balance by Interac or card. Daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits can be set on the sign-up form.
Pick a market
Choose a game and a market: spread, moneyline, total or a player prop. The slip shows the potential return before confirmation.
Track or cash out
Follow the bet in the tracker. Cash-out is available on most open bets before the end of regulation time.

How do CFL parlays and prop bets pay?
Parlays
A CFL parlay multiplies the odds of each leg into one price. Every leg must win, or the whole slip loses. Two legs at -110 pay about +264, compared with +91 for one.
Legs from the same game are often correlated. A favourite covering and the game going over can depend on the same passing offence.
Player props
CFL prop bets focus on individual numbers: passing yards, receiving yards, rushing yards, touchdown scorers and field goals made. Lines rely on role and volume, so starting quarterback news moves them most.
Weather matters too. Wind in late-season games at open stadiums lowers kicking and deep-passing numbers.
Which CFL predictions hold up over a full season?
- Quarterback status: a backup starter shifts the spread more than any other single change.
- Opening versus closing price: a habit of beating the closing line points to sound process.
- Weather for totals: wind affects scoring more than cold alone.
- Schedule spots: short weeks and long road trips across the country.
